Many overseas dealers already have a mature fuel off-road motorcycle sales network and want to add electric models. However, developing new vehicles from scratch takes a long time, making it easy to miss the local electrification market window. For these customers, TAIMUMOTO offers a supporting development plan that leverages the existing customer base of the fuel channel to complete the electric product line without building an entirely new product system.

In the early stage of the project, the technical team will match suitable electric vehicle parameters to the customer’s existing fuel model user profiles, including seat height, power output, range, and charging infrastructure requirements. Development can be implemented in phases: first launch a base electric off-road model that fits the core customer group, release it to the market in small batches, and then iterate and upgrade based on real feedback from terminal stores. The entire plan can directly leverage the customer’s existing warehousing system and after-sales training system, greatly reducing the channel modification costs of adding a new product line. Customers can also freely choose platform facelifts or light customization to flexibly control R&D budgets. For dealers with stable fuel channels, a gradual approach to electric models is far more prudent than full-scale production all at once. However, laying out electric models cannot be limited to adding a single product SKU—battery spare parts supply, store repair training, and charging scenario support must all be planned in advance.
